HIIT(High Intensity Interval Training) is a 30 minute cardio-based fitness class in which short periods of demanding physical activity are alternated with less intense recovery periods. This is a great class for those who want an intense, fun, and quick way to burn calories and lose weight. Suitable for intermediate to advanced fitness levels, however beginners are also welcome as there will always be an alternative, modified form of each exercise instructed.

TUESDAY (06:30 PM – 07:15 PM)

Machine Strength Training

Looking to get fit? Lose weight? Gain strength? Improve bone density? Improve muscle tone? This is the class for you, wether you’re at an advanced fitness level, or just starting ou and need to learn the basics. This class is suited for those who want to develop lean muscle tone and all over strength. Learn the basics of hypertrophy (an increase of muscle size achieved through exercise), how to correctly lift weights, and improve your overall health. This is a 45 minute class suitable for those of all fitness levels.

WEDNESDAY (06:30 PM – 07:15 PM)

Run Fit

A group fitness class designed to increase your cardiovascular strength and endurance. With the use of the gym’s state-of-the-art treadmills, and a combination of some lower body weight training you will gain confidence and improve your running skills. This class is a 45 minute class suited for those of all fitness levels.

THURSDAY (06:30 PM – 07:00 PM)

Tabata 30

Instructor: Savannah Brown

Tabata is a form of high-intensity physical training in which short periods of demanding activity are alternated with short periods of rest. Typically these short bursts of very intense exercise last for 20 seconds followed by a 20 second rest period over 4 min intervals. This class is a great way to keep your heart rate high throughout the duration, and subsequently burn those stubborn calories. In just 30 minutes you will enjoy a rewarding workout designed for intermediate to advanced fitness levels. (Some modifications available for beginners).

FRIDAY (05:45 PM – 06:15 PM)

Cardio & Ab Circuit

Instructor: Savannah Brown

A form of body conditioning that involves resistance training, aerobics, and exercise performed in a circuit. This class will include full body movements, but specifically target your core area while burning calories. This is a 30 minute class suitable for those of all fitness levels.
